Dan Oberklein is a part-time resident of Hilton Head Island, where he enjoys photographing the natural beauty of the island and surrounding Lowcountry. A lawyer by training, Dan recently left the practice of law to concentrate on freelance writing, photography, and technical drafting. His lifelong interest and educational background in science have led to a deep appreciation for the landscapes and wildlife of the Lowcountry, which are a staple of his photography. Dan founded Beach City Photo, LLC in 2009 to make his favorite photographs available to everyone who lives on Hilton Head, vacations here, or simply loves the Lowcountry.
